Hi, I’m Darryl!

I am a Qualified Financial Adviser providing advice on Life, Trauma, Health, Income Protection, Mortgage Protection, and Business Protection Insurance. 

I am the father of two boys and share care with their mum. My boys and I are very close. When I have them, if we’re not unwinding at home, we are out doing things together, be it exercising with a bush walk, visiting friends or going out for a special treat. I love teaching my boys all about life and supporting them as they grow and develop into amazing humans. 

I obtained my qualification in 2024 following a knee injury I received while coaching my sons Rippa Rugby team which was severe enough to prevent me from going back to my primary profession as a Painter Decorator. While I worked as a Painter I was primarily a business owner. I ran my company for over 10 years. This insight into how business works has allowed me to understand the needs of a business, and those working within it. This is something that really adds value to what I can offer as an adviser because I have been there and done it. I know all too well the pressures and liabilities of a business owner. 

Having also been on the receiving end of a severe injury, going through 2 surgeries and continuing physiotherapy, I am also well versed on what it’s like on this front. I was fortunate enough to have an adviser and private medical cover, not only for this injury but other health concerns I’ve had, which has benefited me greatly. I know all too well how little support there is when you need it through the public system, and I hope to help others through these tough times by providing them with options through private care.
